Black Swan - Can Akgümüş - Artist in Focus - May 2025

For a long time, the Black Swan has fascinated the human imagination and psyche. Its oldest known reference dates to the 2nd century AD, when the Roman poet Juvenal described the creature in his Satire VI as "a bird as rare upon the earth as a black swan."
